Its almost time for round number two in the east. We had a good car count last year. How big can we make it this year? The next scheduled race isn't untill August so, lets turn out, have some fun and get some championship points. The track owners were really impressed with the slant six cars and trucks last year and are very excited about having us back. Tim Harrold has comitted to supplying the big purse again and the track has the trophys. So we are set to go. Please post a roll call so we can get an idea who is comming. Here are the race details: July 13th and 14th Friday entry fee 20.00 (don't get much better than this) Gates open at 5:00 P.M. time runs at 6:00 Camping at the track is welcome. Saturday entry fee 20.00 Gates open at 11.00 time runs around 1:00 P.M. Directions to the track is on their website elkcreekdragway.com Thanks Ron Hamby |

You Hush Wayne.. Team green has only but a few posts and Mike Jeffery doesn't have any at all. They all know what's up  Sorry I wish I could make it, but I am getting married that Weekend. Best Wishes to all.. All them Va.. locals will miss ruster this year..  Charrlie doesnt know if his little truck and rig can handle going up all the crazy back roads again to get there.. Greg |

Ron, Some of the boys wanted to come down again. I will tell them to post on here for sure as the time gets a little closer. Not sure I can make it or not.I was considering it again, but my back is acting up again!! I will send your Hooded sweatshirt along with them when they come. Rick PS. If I come I'd really like to bring my Valiant. But not sure i can tow that far with my Slant 6 truck.! No, I do know the answer to that!

Thanks for posting Rick. I will keep my fingers crossed. You guys really help make it a good show last year. I know that Valiant would like it on top of that Virginia mountain. We will say a prayer for the ole' back. Thanks Ron |
