What is the best and easiest way to remove paint from bolts?

(1) Dust storm
(2) Sandblaster
(3) Vise grips and a wire wheel on a drill motor
(4) Paint stripper
(5) Vibratory brass shell casing polisher
(6) Electrolysis
(7) New bolts

(Reminds me of a method I learned to make latkes or fried chicken without stinkin' up the kitchen and house with oily smoke: make 'em in somebody else's kitchen!)

(8 ) B12 Carb "dip" ( let them soak a few days)
(9 ) Rock polisher / tumbler
(10) Bucket-full of Lye solution ( let them soak a few days)

If the paint is still sticking to the bolt after 50 years, don't remove the paint.

It'll make a good base for your next coat of paint.......
