What a great day! Dave and Doug were there, along with Randy and Fopar. Linda rode with me through competition. 60 cars in Sportsman. 12 when I went out, Ten or so when Richard dropped out of the running. I broke out 4/1000ths after cutting a nice .003 light.  Stomped the stuffing out of the brakes when Magnum boy clearly wasn't going to overtake, but just a tad to little. That's drag racing! Then I managed to misplace Fopar on the road again. That makes the third time I've lost that old coot someplace. Vegas a few years ago, then north bound I-5 when he decided to sniff the posies along the route, then this afternoon, he got bored with the interstate and took the scenic route.  Everybody is all found, and safely home. Got to see a new Hemi car spinning a procharger while making license runs. 9.55 pass. Holy toledo!  That car was bucking and snorting all the way down the strip. What a handful!Lot's of cars, parts and etc.. Woodburn puts on a great Mopar show! Ran into a bunch of slant six folks while there, and Linda got to experience drag racing on a whole new level. She really enjoyed the experience! CJ |

This is always a kick when the guy in the tower says the car in other lane is a slant six. Got to put some hemi people on the trailer and the induction system on the Dart is being photographed by lots of people. Richard |

CJ-Great news about Linda! Keep her in the front seat (either rt/lt)from now on...it's too much fun to keep to yourself and since you are not Guzzi Mark a slight 100#+ can't make that much difference and well worth the trade-off! See you both soon. Wendy P. :D |
