OK folks, so I am removing the A/C from my '75 Scamp. In order to remove the compressor, I'll have to remove three of the water pump bolts which also hold the bracket for the compressor. Do you think I could remove these bolts and just replace them after removing the compressor bracket? Or should I remove the water pump (all the bolts) and replace the gasket and maybe even throw on a new water pump? My concern is if I remove these three bolts and replace them after removing the pump, I'll end up with a water pump leak. What do ya think? Thanks guys! |

Yep. You won't wind up with a leak.
