The shop computer decided to take a cr@p and die with all the reference "before" pictures on the HD. nothing is recoverable. Im preparing to reinstall the carb, vacuum hoses, linkages.....and I could use some help routing things. The Clymer / and Chiltons are too general in this area. If you have some pictures of STOCK proper placement of all the vacuum lines, carb linkage and associated bits....can you email them to me at: miclinmopar AT optonline DOT net please. Car: 1976 Dart Sport. S6 (225) manual trans, manual steering, No AC, manual brakes, 1 brl carb. YUP....as plain as you get! TIA Mike |

Neither of those books is acceptably accurate or precise in any area. A factory service manual is essential tool #1 for more than basic superficial work on any vehicle. If you have it, the answers to your questions are in your hands. If you don't have it...why don't you have it?

I have 4 of these guys in various states of 'nice for bookshelf' to missing cover, has grease stains, good for shop reference...They used to be so common you could pick one up off ebay for $6+shipping....Shouldn't be too hard to procure one, since it doesn't cover the 'hot years' (i.e. 1967-1974). -D.Idiot |
