I have a 1964-65 A-body 833 that I pulled back in 1978, and have been saving. This tranny was two years only, short with the ball & trunnion. I've been thinking of selling it, but I thought I should find out what it's worth first. And what a better bunch of people to ask than the Slanters here. Anybody have an opinion on it's fair value? I already run an 833OD in my '66 Barracuda. |

There was one on Seattle craigslist a month or so ago. I want to say it was in the $200 range? |

The early A-body 4-spd with the ball & trunnion joint was only made for 2 yrs(64-65) so I thought it may gain some value with time. I see one on eBuy for $350, but I'll keep mine for that kinda price. Right next to the two aluminum blocks that still ain't worth much more than end tables. |

Unfortunately, most people switch over to the slip yoke 66-up 833, so it's probably the reverse in terms of value. 2 alum blocks, you say? Where are you located in MT? I may be out that way next summer. Lou |

North-east corner, by ND and Canada. Both aluminum blocks were already bored .030. |
