Ok guys, a buddy of mine had all the linkage I needed. Got it all installed and need to know how to initially adjust the kickdown rod. Theres an adjustment "slide" on the carb end of the linkage and is locked down by a 7/16" nut. Where does everything need to be before I lock her down? |

If I remember correctly, loosen the slide, hold the throttle fully open & push the kickdown rod back- then snug down the slide. This should be a good starting point. Then I'd test drive the car & tweak the adj to get the light throttle upshift points I liked. |

Said another way... When the throttle is full open, the KD lever should be all the way back. (also "full open") DD |
