Hey guys i recently changed the springs on my distributor and ive had the hardest time to install my distributor back, because i cant get the dizzy to 10-19 btdc it jumps way to much when i try to atleast move one tooth. I either get 0-10 ATDC or 20-45 BTDC i got it to run at 20 btdc and thats after i drilled in to the distributor adjustment thing so i can move the distributor a bit. Any help??

Are you using both adjustments slots...?
(there is an adjustment slot on the top and another on the bottom)

Does your distributor have the adjuster on the bottom like the one pictured in this post, http://slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=56335

Look at the opposite side of the plate. You'll see another bolt that goes through the plate (and the second slot) that threads into the distributor body. Perhaps yours loosened up in the process. You can see it in the pic with the washer under it.
