The date is set for this years banquet. It will be held 2/22,23,24/2013 Friday and, Saturday, departing on Sunday. It will be at Valley Forge Inn in Pigeon Forge, Tn. same place as the last few years. Gary Bruner is going to reserve rooms and check on special rates. Gary will let us know details soon, and if you need to contact him, his number is 865 661 8785. This thread is kinda early and we still have one more race to go, but as time goes by, everyone please jump in and share any ideas and suggestions you may have for this years banquet. Thanks, Rob! Gary Bruner has made reservations with the Valley Forge Inn for 9 rooms plus the big common room. We can get more rooms too. Reservation number is S613, so call in to reserve your room now! We are getting a 10% discount for the group, so rooms are less than $40/night!! Lou |

Greg I noticed you are booked. That reminded me, Gary Bruner asked me to post the motel might not be able to book rooms until mid December because their computer would not be updated for 2013 til then. So maybe they have figured it out. See you there. Ron |

I will be coming this year, too. I have been very busy lately but I am looking to recharge my racing batteries at the banquet! Also, for anyone who is traveling to the banquet from I-40W, route 441 in TN has had a very large landslide which has closed a section of road for an indefinite amount of time. I only mention it, because I know some people have used that route before getting to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Better take a different route. Brian |

Thanks for the Update - Is that Hwy closure from I 40 hinder getting off at I-40 exit 407 (the one with the Baseball stadium near the exit) and taking the Winfield Dunn Parkway / tn66 south into Sevierville / Pigeon Forge? Greg |
