Hi all, just curious about who makes the best quality gasket sets for slants? Victor? Felpro? Others? Thanks |

If building a full engine, I typically use the Felpro kit...Recently using higher compression ratios for Race, the Felpro head gasket didn't cut it (10:1 OK, 12:1 no go), but the Victor Reinz head gasket worked like a charm (up to 12:1 OK)... The best head gasket I have used was the Permaseal Aussie gasket, but limited offering here in the USA. Remflex intake/exhaust to head gaskets are worth the money as well in case the manifold is a little off or you are using a mix and match set of parts and unsure if you can true the full set (hyperpak intake and dual exhaust, etc...) -D.Idiot |

I've been bitten too hard and too often by Fel-Pro; they are my last choice. Other than that, I agree with DusterIdiot's recommendations. |
