Hello I was wondering if a slant six would bolt to the same mounts of a 230 flathead, I'm looking to up the cars performance, but not by puttinga V-8 in it, I want to try to keep it as original as possible. I would use the flathead but there are NO performance parts(like a 2bbl intake manifold,etc.) for it at all. I know there are parts I can get to step a slant six up a bit. Is this possible? Also would a slant six bolt to a 58 powerflite tranny?? thanks, bassman[/b] |
