I have a 1966 dart 273/904. The problem is a previous owner left a pair of torque convertor to flex plate bolts loose and they damaged the threads in the torque convertor. Best case I can retap the holes in the convertor. Worst case I have to replace the mounts on the convertor or the entire convertor. Here is the question what convertors will also fit a 1966 904 from a 273. I recall hearing it has the same small crank register issues as the slants, does an early slant convertor fit a 273? I have several small register slant convertor, but that is the only v8 car that I have had so I don't have any spares. I realize stall speed will be off, but at present it is not drivable and it needs to be able to move around the property on its own. Thanks in advance |
