Does anyone here in the states have the GRPS Intake/exhaust gaskets? I didn't think so. I tried to get hold of Jim Cox to see if he could get any more of theirs made, but have not heard back from him. I am going to be in need of some shortly, and will likely place an order. I think the current price is $51 for 2 including shipping. Just thought I'd ask here before i ordered. I'd be willing to order some extras if somebody wants some. It may save a little on shipping. Thanks Will. I called and left a message back a couple weeks ago. Depending on the price I would probably get 4 or 5 for the Covalt Clan. Rick |

I'll take 2, if you don't mind coordinating the order. Let me know when/how/amount to pay. If you're up for a bit more work, you might consider seeing if he will send you a bunch of the Permaseal head gaskets (3.66" bore). I could front the money for those if you like. He can get a discount from a parts house on a good number. I would probably order 30 based on demand around here and price. Just another thought... Best, Lou |

Lou, Let's see if Will can get the gaskets from Jim Cox. If they are not available then I will try and get an order together from GRPS. I would also like a couple of the big bore head gaskets. Rick |

Cox brothers in Columbus Ohio? Can I trash them? I called about a timing chain. They shipped it before I paid for it! 2003. |

I am working to get final pricing on some of the big bore head gaskets, and some intake/exhaust manifold gaskets. Since these will be coming out of Australia, it is better to place one large order than for each of us to do it individually. I will post back later this week with some details and then take orders. Ok, I have sent 2 e-mails over the last 2 weeks to GRPS trying to get info on their extra -thick Graphite Intake/Exhaust gaskets. I have not heard back from them at all. So I moved on to talk with Mark at Aussie Speed. He can get us a large port graphite Intake/Exhaust gasket but it is not as thick as I would like. It is 1.5MM (@1/16" thick. I am wondering if anyone has used them with headers and how they worked out. I can get a good price on them for us but I want to make sure they are good to use with headers. Please let me know if you have used it, and how it worked. I don't want to order 20 of them and then have them not work. My guess is that they may work well with a flat face manifold, but not so well with the headers that have a small, raised sealing surface. If this does not work out then Mark said he may need to do a little research on the proper material for a new gasket and have them made. Thanks, Rick Description from Aussie speed web site: Slant 6 Chrysler large port manifold gaskets. These gaskets have a perforated steel centre with a layer of high temp graphite sealer on either side for better sealing of all types of inlet & exhaust manifolds. The large port version is only recommended for serious large port race heads. You are purchasing 3 single large port gaskets |

If you are Having trouble getting the Graphite Gaskets from australia, you can try this one: http://catalog.remflex.com/MOPAR_Header ... p/6008.htm They will probably be stock sized ports but you can always modify the ports larger is needed. Greg |

Greg, you may be right. This may be our only option for a thick gasket for now. The cost of the Remflex is about $60 with the shipping. I was trying to get something at about half that price. Thanks, Rick |

What about a copper gasket, would that be sufficient for both intake and exhaust. |
