hi Barry here.i forget which way the thermostat goes?.cone shape out to rad.?or cone towards the block?this is highly embarassing but,oh well.i have to ask cause i do not want to blow the motor or somthin..thanks guys and God Bless.barry..ps..i have the cone towards the block right now. |

Coil spring side towards head. Spring is what reads and reacts to temperature of coolant in head. |

Spring/sensor into engine, "cone" looking part towards radiator.....  Dont feel bad I've had those kind of moments also, all the sudden seem to be ate up with the dumb a&&. Altho lately it seems tho those moments happen more and more, than they used to...
