I want lower gears in my 904. Does anyone know if the guts from an A500 can be put into a 904? |

I know it cannot be done on a 67 or older 904. I do not know about a later 904. Why not just use a later 904, that has the low gearset?

Any slant six or v-8 904, 998, or 999 manufactured after 1981 will have the wide ratio gearset. Find an automatic transmission from any 80s era full size Dodge truck or van (so long as it isn't a 727) and you will get the wide ratio gear set. |
