I am trying to go from flloor shift to column shift. I originally had column shift but I went to floor shiftw/manual valve body. Now 30 years later I want to put it back. :? Needless to say I do not have linkage. Not even the shifter on the column. I have not located a picture of the llinkage and was wondering if someone here could help me. I am pretty good at fabrication but I know there are some other parts I may need . E bay may be a source but if I know what to look for it may be easier for me to fabricate some of the linkage.
I figure with the experts and experienced mechanics here You could point me in the right direction.

Would I be able to find pictures of the linkages in a service manual. I am considering buying one off of ebay . Does anyone know if they have pictures in there for the literary challenged like me?And am I on the right track?

I think 66 was the first year for rod shift.

A service manual is always a good thing to have, if you are going to work on your own car. And, yes, the 66 plymouth SM soes have a picture of the linkage.
Do you have the correct steering columm, and just missing the lever that comes off the columm, or has the columm been changed to one, that does not accept the lever (floor shift columm)?

I have the correct column-it is original .when I was young& dumb I removed the shift lever so the dash appeared cleaner. I am definitely going to get theFSM then. I have a BBD on the motor w/cable throttle linkage. I'll get the kickdown setup and the correct shifting set up and get back on the road soon.
