How critical is it to put the 2 inch pipe to accept my oil filter on my new pump? Also how do u take it off, seems really tight. Also They say put a new oil ring on, any pic to show all this stuff? Tia, Dana

it probably has some loctite on the threads, to keep it with the OP body when the filter is spun off

I put some heat on mine with a butane torch and it came off,,
