Hi

Is it true that always if there is adjustable rockers, they are not hydraulic.

My car is Aspen, 225 Super six, year model 1979 and I think it's export model.

I think that I should adjust valves, But everybody has told me that there is hydraulic lifters and no need to adjust them.

If there are adjuster screws on the rocker arms, the lifters are mechanical and the adjustment should be checked.

In the US, Hydraulic lifters did not start until 1980.

Thanks. Thats just what I was thinking. Tomorrow I buy new valve cover gasket and adjust them.
