| Post subject: | Slipped Balancer off the Hooptie |
Here's a photo of the Hooptie balancer. I compared it to an NOS balancer, and a balancer I cleaned up a couple years ago. The cleaned up one is on top. The blue one is what came off the Hooptie. The keyway is aligned. Time to send it to the Damper Doctor! CJ |

I'll check the ones I have at the shop, but the 6 spoke cast crank damper is a bit off from the 70's forged crank dampers, somewhere about 1978-1979 the tab on the timing cover changed to one that only reads 0-20, and has the tube to mount the sensor. Your slipped one might be perfect though for the 1960's timing tab though... |
