| Post subject: | New Chrome Differential Cover Pics |
I changed my differential fluid and decided instead of buying a new rubber check plug and gasket that i would buy this chrome plated cover that has a threaded check plug and comes with a gasket and chrome plated bolts. Since it was only $26 + tax i think that it's a great deal! Here's a link It fits '61-'89 Chrysler cars & trucks with 8-1/4" ring gear http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/ ... 810_19153_ I thought the differential gears looked like they were in good shape especially since that's probably the original axle...It would have been better had i taken the time to take the bed off and use a electric pressure washer to clean everything off good 1st but it worked out OK and so far no leaks ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I "think" mine has one of those but not as purdy. I'll check when I get home. Just wish that the factories would have got it right and put drain plugs in the bottoms like Toyota has been doing for years. Makes more sense, a drain and separate fill. But my yota didn't have sure grip |
