I depends on what you buy.

I have never heard of them until now, but it looks like they have some issues with various car groups on the web.

Chevy Diesel Truck guys have used them towing and had good results until the hub fell apart.
Seems that the VW guys say they are below spec like the Spec clutch in rating.
Ford guys note that they make the discs for the SHO cars but LUK makes the pressure plates....

Interesting set of comments reading through other vehicle boards...maybe someone can visit them in Hampton,VA and see how the units look, and if they can improve them.

I remember them as a french windshield wiper maker...
Seriously, last time I heard of them they were making parts for modern european cars not american classics.
Sounds a little suspicious to me.

I wonder if the picture is a diaphragm but the actual unit is an old style Borg&Beck like the original. Ebay pics often lie or are not specific.

That is true, I had ordered a Zoom! clutch for my Duster when I was putting it all back together a decade or so back. The catalog and box showed a diaphragm clutch, once I removed the cardboard and plastic it was a stock Borg and Beck...

Yep Valeo bought up a bunch of companies years back & now they are huge OEM supplier for all kinds of parts- alternators, HVAC stuff, wiper motors, etc (think Mitsubishi or Nippondenso but in Europe). If you took all the valeo parts off a VW there wouldn't be much left. I can't think if any domestic brand uses em or not- if so it would be newer stuff.
