So my question is if i can find the trans kickdown adjustment rod will I have to make any changes to my existing kickdown or can I just connect the rod to the same location the old rod was?

Anyone? I have a lead on the connection between the carb and kickdown but I don't want to waste money if I can not make it work.

Is your current throttle assembly a rod style or a cable style? If you have a rod throttle assembly then you will need a totally different throttle cable and kickdown system.

My current is a rod style. I am upgrading to the super six and have the floating pedal. I also have a cable kick down similar to lokar

You will need to use the cable kickdown linkage.
