oops, cheaply, not heaply.

i also noticed all my light bulb sockets were falling out of the dash, so i got new sockets and bought fresh bulbs. i'm going to clean the inside of the instrument panel tonight.

the glass man came by and "un-pinched" the rear window glass gasket, but i was still getting a leak from the right taillight. i removed, cleaned, and siliconed it and now it has stopped leaking. the glass man came back for the windshield and said it wasn't leaking. i am sure he is wrong, but i definitely do have other sources of leaks (such as the pivot seals). i've never been a body man, but what must be done must be done! when i hit certain areas with the water hose, it poured in like niagra falls.

i am also seriously considering adding a/c, as i live in oklahoma and the summer is upon us. the time to change out all these gaskets and stop the leaks is NOW, while i'm not yet using the car as a daily driver. however, that is the plan.

i forgot to add, the car only has 63k one owner miles on it, and now that it has been cleaned i must say that for the most part it is REALLY solid. so long as i don't let it turn to rust!
