Samoa has agreed to have 2 races on Saturday and 1 on Sunday. The second race Saturday will be the Rain Date Make-up race from Redding. All racers who were at the Redding Rain Out should easily be able to make it to Samoa. If open discussion is needed to approve this action, let's get this clarified ASAP. |

Sounds like a good plan. You'll need to bring extra race fuel, all the passes your going to make that weekend! It's a long way back to the mainland.  CJ |

Pushing the envelope, eh Bees?? 3 races in one weekend! Since one is a rainout makeup, I see no problem with this. I am 90+% going to make this race weekend in the 68 turbo Dart. Fly to Vegas, check out car, drive up, race.... Best, Lou |

Makeup race open to all or just those who attended rained out date? All 3 races can be counted as points events? |

Hi Dave, i dont think there is any question it is open to all. Come on down ,i am borowing a car to run this weekend,Samoa is alwayn fun . |

It has been determined to be open. In addition, due to this rule: -Your car is in the pits and is entered in the Slant 6 bracket race, for each race entered (unlimited): 5 points. You will receive 5 points for every race. That will be 15 points for the three races. CJ |

Thanks for clearing that up. I don't have any NHRA ET Series races in July and could stand to get out of town for a weekend. |

This afternoon I finally got someone to take the pager for that weekend! If all goes well, Linda and I will be there! How are the accommodations Andrew? I'd like to use the open trailer to keep fuel costs down. CJ |

I am looking forward to this one... Romeo's wife Lynn thinks I'm crazy for going to Vegas in July to pick up my car, but my Slanted state of mind has been well established in the past, so I'm sure Romeo is not surprised. Ciao ciao, Lou |

My wife and I got the custom made trophys for the Samoa event....they are awesome!! Also, all the racers will get a special gift for attending.So come on and race! |

Looks like I will need a head count if we want to meet at the Samoa Cookhouse for Friday nights festivities. Saturday We will be handing out a gift to everyone that is racing at this event.Then after racing, the BIG BBQ is at our house!! Lots of food! Then back to racing on Sunday!!
