Hope Edd is feeling better. Get well soon Edd!  Still waiting to hear what Bruce finds in his post mortem of Wendy's engine. Today was a rain out. I will send the ladders to your email tomorrow. I need a shower and dry socks!  They finally called the event. A gulley washer came through as we tore down camp. We had seven cars on the ladder for Sunday. I will see when we can run the makeup race. The Inliner/Flathead will be completed at the Hot Rod Nationals Saturday Morning. My .08 light got me the bye round. Couldn't believe Walt Pearce didn't pull a rabbit out of his hat and pounce on his normal .02 Andrew and Jessica called from south of Cottage Grove. Their new tow rig is great! I will be picking up a pink model A, or is it T? bumper car up in Portland to deliver to them in Samoa!  We'll need some Samoa racers help unloading it!Hear that Mark? Congratulations to Dave and C.J, I must have put 300 runs on that engine before selling it to the Pines,didnt think would last this long. Time to bring the junkjard dog out. Hey ,now we can have 4 races at Samoa. |

Perhaps. Fopar is checking into running it at Woodburn. Three of the racers from the rainout don't travel that far generally. CJ |

We were rained out, but the food was terrific! Dave didn't banish me from his camp. much. Participants at the track, braving the drizzle were: Andrew Howard Michael Bjerklund CJ Stoakes Richard Bjerklund Dave Mueller Doug Powers Walt Skoczylas No rounds were run for Slant Six. |
