| Post subject: | Setting up a working choke... |
I recently bought this thermostatic choke off ebay and put it on my truck Saturday... http://www.ebay.com/itm/121002298155?ss ... 1497.l2649 Looks like it's going to work out OK I don't have the electrical wire connected at this time...Aggressive Ted said that it helps the thermostatic spring heat up faster but it's not neccessary and he runs his without it. I don't have a RPM gauge right now so i don't know what my fast idle and curb idle are but later on i will add that to help dial it in better... I have the fast idle cam set screw set on the top curve part of the fast idle cam and when it comes down to curb idle it stops at the highest step on the cam...i'm not sure if that's how it's suppose to work but it works Anyways here are some pic's of the choke setup ![]() ![]()
