Ok so my budys car arrived yesterday and instead of it being a 74 dart swinger its a 74 scamp. I was told it was a 225 with supersix A904 big bolt pattern car they believe it to have front disc. Only needs a radiator, catch can and battery. Its indeed a 225 with single barrel and 10" drums missing battery, cables, radiator, alternator, and sighns of a wire melt down and no rubber left in the drivers side motor mounts. The block is a bh 5 freeze plug block but the head is a drool tube head so that tells me the head has been swapped am I correct. So far the motor spins with no plugs intalled. |

Oh and is a 65amp 2 groove alternator a correct replacement. Seeing as there is none to compair it too. |

No, a 74 motor would be a drool tube motor and could be a five freeze plug block. Two groove alternators are not 100% correct but will work fine. If it really bothers you just swap the pulley. |
