I have an old chrome exhaust pipe tip that is rusted. Does anyone have a recommendation on a brand that seems to hold up a little longer than the rest? thanks, Travis |

No recommendation, but have you tried cleaning your tip with steel wool? Get a very fine grade and go to town. |

I like to lubricate with a little WD-40. I also so a cool tip of using apple cider vinegar. For light rust I would try the apple cider vinegar or CLR before the steel wool.

A high quality one cost me $25 installed at the local muffler shop a year ago, but the heavy chrome plating looks like new.
