i need some help to sort out an on going problem that through no fault of theres or ours has left some old rusty headers here in Australia. here is the deal, a forum member borrowed 2 sets of headers from Charrlie s and sent them to us to reproduce them, then for reasons beyond any ones control the member has stepped back from the Slant 6 world. We have shipped one old set back to Charrlie and he wants his damaged old rust headers back also.this has been arranged before but people have not followed through with what they said they would do.. we have sent 3 sets of the AS0079 Aussiespeed early A 170/225 headers to guys in the USA who have said they fitted there early A bodies no problem but have not sent through the details and pics of there fit ups..So if you want a set of early A headers, want to help Aussiespeed, help Charrlie s and give us details and pictures of them fitted up please get in touch. please no more dreamers, keyboard warriors or time wasters the deal will be you get a new set of headers plus have to ship Charrlies old headers to him. Mark.. |

I have a 63 Valiant wagon I would be willing to try them on. And would have no problem sending anything you want to Charlie. Not sure if the Valiant or the 71 Demon will get the Hurricane 4bbl manifold. The other will get a 2bbl. Mike Keller 1636 N Glenn Ave Ontario, CA 91764-1434 951 212-0817 cell |

I would love to try these on my 62 Lancer GT 225 904 PB What would be the cost of shipping? |

Thats part of the problem, just shipping one set is not cost effective. Its better for several people to buy a lot of stuff and split the cost of having it shipped in a container. I think thats a lot of the reason why this project keeps stalling. |

It looks like Mark and I have worked it out, so I get a set of headers. |

Charlie, If it helps, Lou was interested in a different set of headers from Mark. It may help to ship a couple sets together if that can be worked out. Rick |

Sounds great, Charlie. I may talk to Mark to see if he'll throw another set of headers (shorties) in there for me. Don't wait for me, though. Best, Lou |

I won't have the money to send Mark, untill sometime after Mason-Dixon. This has been ongoing for some time, so a little while longer is not a big thing. See what you can work out. I just need a set that will fit a 170 for next year. |

So, Mark. Do we still have an arrangement, for a new set of headers, or not?

As soon as I get them I will test fit in my 64 Valiant with auto trans and manual steering. I have a power steering box that I plan to test fit as well. The intake/exhaust is already off that car so it will take me only a few minutes. I'll ship Charlie's headers to him as soon as they get here. |

I think Charrlie is questioning whether or not he is going to be sent a new set of headers as well as his old ones. That was part of the original deal to begin with. |

Charrlie, without you supplying the headers in the first place the project wouldnt have happened, i wanted to put things right and get both your sets of headers back to you, this has been a long drawn out process what 3 years now ? We needed to move forward at get the information we need to be able to make and sell the headers and when Robert put his hand in his pocket we thought it was a great chance to get that bit more advanced with them. So yes we still have a deal when you want a set its all good, only thing is they wont be shipped express international air mail as it is real expensive LOL... |

Mark, I'm not going to make the race, next week, so I can sent the money, now. Let me know how to pay you. How long do you expect the headers to take, to get here. |
