check the deck area on the passenger side at the front of the block (near the coil.) it sticks out maybe 1/4" or so and is covered with grease and grime. there will be a series of numbers and characters that will contain the engine displacement (170, 198, 225.) quick look at the water bypass hose between the head and the water pump can narrow it down. if it's about an inch long, you have a 170. about two inches long and it's either a 198 or a 225. -james |
