| Post subject: | What other transmissions will fit this housing? |
 This is the bolt pattern I have on my /6 in my truck. It has an A-250 three speed bolted up to it right now using the 4 smaller bolt holes. What other transmissions will fit this? I don't have the casting number since it is all together. I found this pic to show the pattern I have. Rob |

Note that is a mid-70's to end of slant run 80's NP-435 bellhousing so if you put a 3 speed in the hole, it will need to have the 1975-up 5.125" 3 speed only bearing retainer...if you use an earlier 3 speed (with the 4.3 or 4.8" BR), you will need to find a late 3 speed with that special retainer or have a sleeve/bushing made for the gap...FYI. -D.Idiot |
