So despite warning I finagled a deal on some clifford stuff. Will pipe heat into manifold via water jacket in bottom of intake, so no worries there. Also don't mind the ghetto blockoff for vacuum, hadn't bought a new set of caps at the time and wanted to start her up. Screams pretty loud with open headers. Will have to get that resolved next.

Electrical for the chokes has been cleaned up already, new vacuum caps just need to be popped on. Also will re-run the PCV hookup as well.

Is Dual weber 32/36. Haven't gotten to actually drive it yet, only short startups to make sure everything is working before it starts to annoy my neighbors. Sounds pretty fantastic to my ears though.

Next step is waiting for the rain to stop coming down here so I can hook up the lokar kick down and new throttle cable (old one was pretty shredded) and drive it to the exhaust shop near by to have that finished up.

Yep after about 3-5 minutes or under acceleration and load your firewall will need a repaint and your wiring harness may need complete replacement (acc cable may need it as well)...if you can't make a down pipe (header collector and flange to a hose clamp and 18" of flex to dump on the pavement, each pipe)...you may need to resort to a tow truck....

If you are going to headers, install a mini starter to finish the look in the engine bay.

Sweet! Looks pretty cool.

Ditto on the downpipes. Open shorty headers put some serious heat into that engine compartment, especially with any RPMs.

Let us know how it turns out. I love the dual look!

If you're going to run it without the downpipe............

Do it at night so you can at least see the flames.

Fair point, exhaust shop is 1 mile away, mostly down hill so I was just going to baby and risk it, but better safe than sorry. I already have all the collectors and hardware, flex tubes to be gotten tomorrow after work.

Got the new throttle cable hooked up. Wouldn't suggest anyone go cheap and get the Mr Gasket universal one. Its crap. Won't be driving much further than exhaust shop and back with it before I replace with a higher end unit.

Yes it is. Which in itself is just included with repackaged redline stuff(even came with parts in the redline box).

I've never seen one of those before. Glad things worked out for you.
