Greetings! I just lucked up on an all original 1973 Dart Swinger. Truly one of those "little old lady, garage kept, low mileage" cars that you hear about! I have been out of the old car routine for 15 years or so and have never owned a slant six Mopar so I will be a bit rusty as far as my knoweledge goes. Looks like I have found the right place! Been lurking around for a few days and it seems like there are a lot of nice folks who know their stuff on here. Hope ya'll don't mind if I pick your brains in the months to come as I tinker with this Dart. It runs good (I drove it home, 4 hrs) but it did sit in garage for years and was only driven around the neighborhood. It is going to need a tuneup, U-joints, and motor mounts to start. Anyway, I won't overload you guys with Q's just yet, soon though!

Thanks!

Welcome, lots of experts here (I'm not one of them). Post some pics of your ride! We all love pics.

The white walls have since gone, they looked brand new, but were 20 years old! I also rebuilt the calipers and put new brakes all the way around. Like I said, next order of business is new U-joints and ignition upgrade/tuneup.

Did you get it in Moultry? The fairground sure look like it. I am from W. Georgia near the AL border off of 20. I won't say I am an expert but I have done a bit of work and torn down and built a slant back up. I have another slant car in the wings (64 Valiant 4 Door) waiting for some attention also.

I actually found it on Craigslist in Palm Coast Florida. Rust free, still has factory paint on floor pans and original A/C that works! 81,000 miles!

Congrats I found both my Valiant and Barracuda on Craigslist. Barracuda from Louisiana and Valiant in Atlanta.
