| Post subject: | Motor mounts??? |
Like I said in a previous post, my first order of business is some new motor mounts on the dart. I have two questions. 1. Who would be my best bet as far as a supplier goes. Should I go with a restoration co. like Year One or Classic industries? Or would Autozone, Summit be just as good. I do want to go with an OEM style for ride quality. 2. Is there any tricks or tips I should know before I dive in? Is it just the standard floor jack/block of wood routine? The passenger side one looks like it might be a bit tricky? Thanks! |

I haven't tried them myself, but here's a discussion on poly replacements: http://slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php ... nts#398285 |

I shy away for the price gouging of buying through YearOne, etc, and have had the generic parts store variety fail in a year multiple times, so I went with the http://polybushings.com/ mounts. Won't have to worry about them for many years, and cost wise, they're a whole lot cheaper than the new radiator when the $5 rubber mount failed! |
