Fellas,
I recently purchased the Holley fuel pressure regulator that was recommended. Should I mount it close to the carb (Weber 38DGES), or the fuel pump? Or does it matter?
Thanks!!! Thanks!!!
Wes

Mount it near where you want the fuel pressure to be regulated.

Check my thread "weber on super six setup" I made an arm that mounts to the spot where the return spring was on the carter setup. It puts the regulator within 6" of the carb and hovers away from the exhaust manifold heat. On the weber instructions it says to mount it near the carb but away from heat. They also recommend ditching mechanical fuel pumps and going for an electric.

Away from heat, works great. I did switch to electric fuel pump eventually, but it worked well with the mechanical pump also.

You can see it at the very top of this pic, on the passenger side fender, well away from any heat source. The mechanical fuel pump was feeding into the bottom port of the Holley regulator, when I switched to electric, I just used the same setup.
