I tried to put my Cliffords in my '76 Duster and could not get them in. Can't remember exactly why, but they may have hit the PS box.
They did fit beautifully in my '66 with manual steering though.

I called clifford the said it will fit, however I know from reading here you can't believe everything they say. I'm wanting to put them on a 225 in a 74 dart with power steering and power brakes. Any mods needed for them to fit. I will be changing to a mini starter, If I remember right a Dakota starter should fit. |

They should fit a 67 up "A" body without problems. They will not fit a 66 or older "A" body with power steering, unless the front header is modified. It will not fit a 170 motor in an "A" body with manual steering without modifying. I don't think they will fit a 170 in a early "A" body with power steering with out MAJOR mods. |

I have had to put a "dimple" in mine to have clearance. Not a lot, maybe 1/8 inch deep. It will be close, and you might not have any issues like I did. Brian |

They worked in my 71 with power steering. Don't recall exactly but it was somewhere within 1/2" of the box. I was surprised it didn't hit with the normal motor movement but it didn't. If you didn't have healthy motor mounts I could see it becoming a problem. There's some play in the mounting flange as well - verify its level with the head front to rear. |

Before I installed new motor mounts in my 67 Dart shorty headers made contact with power steering even with a dimple hammered into one of the runners. After new flat stile mounts and a 1/8 inch shim under driver’s side mount were installed, there is a good half inch clearance now. |
