I am sure this is a "no duh" question, but I will ask anyway. I took my old rocker shaft off of my old head to send back for core on my reman shaft. I wasn't paying attention, when I installed the reman shaft on my new head I cleverly noticed one bolt was considerably longer than the rest. Logic, for what is worth, tells me the longer bolt goes in the middle position with the remaining 6 bolts on either side. Am I correct in this assumption?

I hate to be blunt, but no. It goes into the last hole in the shaft, rear of the engine. I believe it supplies oil the the rocker shaft. Torque all bolts to 25ft-lbs.
