Tomorrow will be three weeks since we bought "Andy's GT". Andy is my 17 year old son who fell in love with this 1967 Dodge Dart GT the minute he saw it. He bought it for $3,100 at an auction, with his own money he earned delivering newspapers and working at a pizza place. It is yellow w/ white buckets seats and factory air.
Yesterday we finally got all the bugs worked out and father and son enjoyed an uneventful thrilling 50 mile drive before he had to get ready for work.
From 1975 - 1980 I worked as a mechanic (mostly GM and Honda). I had a friend who had a 65 Dart and my roommate in college had a 64 Dart both with slant 6's...so I had worked on them but it had been years!
All that to say a big "THANK YOU!!!" to all of you who answered our posts and gave Dad the courage to get my hands dirty again. (I'm a pastor now...I only work one day a week
