Hi folks, Forgive me for being forward, but who is making the decision to cancel this race? There is no minimum number of racers needed. If someone was planning to come, then I hope everyone is discussing and agreeing on whether to cancel or not. I may be missing things behind the scenes of course... Thanks and all the best, Lou |

The race sponsors, due to lack of car count. If someone wishes to hold the race, they may contact Kirk at the track and arrange to do so. The track has trophies for the winners. CJ |

You may as well cancel the season,the seven previously held races had the following number of entries.(5,5,5,7,4,8,and 6),For many reasons this is what we have this season and can only hope it will improve next year.H owever to cancel races is not going to help .,this will not create any goodwill with racers that had planned the outing and with track operators,the small tracks will welcome any car counts. You are the race coordinator ,a sponsor would usually have some financial interest involved.Thats 3 races you have cancelled for low car counts,in my opinion thrre was mo reason whatsoever to cancel the woodburn races .The cars raced Saturday,why cancel sunday. I am om the outside looking in ,I am not involved in any decision making and don't have any details ( as none are being posted),.but stromgly disagree with planned race cancellations. |

There are going to be lean years, and we have had some in the East in the past. I've been at some races with 4 cars, and no one discussed cancelling them. Some off-season thinking and collaboration is probably in order. Personally, I would take cancelling a race very seriously. All the best, Lou |
