Our little get together in Des Moines. Right now I am shooting for Feb 15. I know that is Valentine's weekend, but what women wouldn't love to sit and listen to a whole boatload of car talk?

Nothing set in stone, open for suggestions.

Mark, please check to board before you leave. But then again, you wife might like it better if we're not there again. :D

Not that I've managed to make a meet up yet, however, if it is the 15th that is same time I'll be driving the exact opposite way. Got a course to attend at Ft. Lee VA again.
Upside to that though is maybe get some time to visit with some of the members who live out there.

If you get anywhere near Lou, you must make the effort to meet up with him. It's worth the trip for sure. :D

I'll be out there from mid February till apr 7th so I plan to make more than one meet n greet.

There is also a car show I used to take my slant to called " Oldies but goodies" just a cpl miles away from Ft. Lee that I really want to take the truck to again just to see if there's any of the same ppl. Only this time I'll be boosted  and I'll get the name of the guy who sold me the super six breather. He's the same one that made a clock out of a super six lid. I've seen it online here somewhere.

Edit: Went looking and found it in the "articles" under super six. It was Reed Speir. And man does he have a gorgeous car in his garage. Demon as I recall.

The 15th works for me. We need to get Mike Evans there so I can give him the cylinder head I took home last year. We need to put together a Cedar Falls race so I don't have to drive so far. How about Roger 225?

We may get Mike E there, and a race for Cedar Falls is already in the works.

Maybe Roger can drive the street rod up for dinner.

Oops my speed reading fails again
.. well at least dennis was helpful for ya.

Its maybe only 900 miles. I did consider it but I think with the 1 year old around and the banquet the next weekend, it might be too much.

Have fun.

I really hate to miss sitting across the table from Dennis and listening to all the reasons why he doesn't have the Daytona done, but I'm staying home.
I want the "Grenade" ready for MoKan so I have got to keep after it. I have all the front drive changes made and going to a powerglide.
A Cedar Falls race sure sounds good.
