I WANT TO CHANGE FROM THE STEEL LINES TO A FLEXIBLE LINE. THE BRAIDED HOSE IS REAL EXPENSIVE. HAS ANYONE GOT A BETTER IDEA AND WHAT KIND OF HOSE DO I NEED.

There is a trans duty rubber hose that will take the extra pressure, don't use rubber fuel line. The NHRA limits the amount of rubber line that can be used. Some of the trans line needs to be steel with rubber used no more than the last 12" at each end.
There is lower cost braided line that is not aircraft quality ( aircraft = $ ). It uses steel fittings which have a 45 degree seat vs. the aircraft 37 degree. It is used on commercial hydraulics. Hydraulic suppliers will have it, maybe a large established NAPA store.

NORM, what's up with the GA state flag? That doesn't look like what I'm used to seeing. Seems like I remember the old one was politically incorrect. Is it a new design?
