I have a 74 Dart 4 door sedan. There is a molding clip missing (I'm assuming) that is causing the molding to stick up right at the top where the it joins together. I see the clips for sale all over; my question is, will the rear winshield need to be removed ot install the clip? Is there another way to hold that sucker down?

Thanks!

It is a fight, but I think you can get a clip in place while fighting the rubber molding and goo. I don't remember if the clips there are on a stud (slide sideways to lock on) or screwed on with a short sheet metal screw. An option might be to install the clip an inch to one side of the original by drilling a new pilot hole and using a screw.
