While I'm still working on my cast aluminum intake, I had yet another thought. Picture a header with a thick flange but with ports cut through for the intake as well. Then, have seperate studs on this flange for the intake. I'm thinking this might be better for gaskets :?: I'm thinking this method would do away with the diagonal pattern on the intake and exhaust flanges so that they could bolt up with the studs going through instead of between the parts. Then the ports would be lined up better?

This is just another one of those ideas that wake me up in the night going hmm....
