I need to fix my front vent 1/4 window - where can I find un curred rubber?

You mean like rubber in a squeeze tube, which can be extruded like toothpaste and then once it's in place it'll cure? That product is known as RTV silicone. My favourite in black/charcoal-grey is Chrysler's own brand, or else any of the colours offered by Valco.

Or you might want to look into Sugru.

Is the problem with worn out weatherstripping or a loose latch? Chances are you can tighten the latch up. I did a writeup about tightening the vent window lat on my brother's 83 Dodge van and I bet the same method could be used on other Mopars from the 60s-80s.

My '89 D100 used to have a wind whistle at the driver-side vent wing. I wedged a nickel between the frame and the part of the handle that bore against the frame to pull the window closed. No more whistle.

Sure, but why not fix it correctly when the fix is so simple?

Post subject:  Un-cuured rubber

Un-curred rubber is the rubber strip that holds the front vent and side windows in their grooves. You cut it to length coat one side with kerosine and push the window glass in to the rubber / groove, trimming off any excess.

The rubber expands (probably cures) and holds the glass in tight. Voila!

Some years ago it was readily available but I cannot find any today.

Roofers carry uncured rubber for edging rubber roofs.
