Post subject:  2015 Mason Dixon - Slant 6 Spring race
Slant Sixers will be returning to Mason Dixon Dragway, (Hagerstown Md.) for the 7th year of racing at the track. Dates are May 16,17 and we are looking for a great return to racing for the 2015 season. I will post the names that I am pretty sure are coming and please let me know or post here so we can add you to the list.

Please also let me know if you are interested in doing a track rental for 2 hours on Saturday before we start the time trials. I spoke to the owner and we can get the track from 10-12:00 in the morning for $300. If there were 10 of us, that would be $30 additional for each of us. We should be able to get plenty of tuning runs in in that time.

There will be more details to follow! Let the racin begin! :lol: :lol:

It looks like I am coming up, with or without the race car. Need to pick up parts. If I do come up with the race car, I am in for the morning TNT. I am trying to get the car back together, and it will probably be the 1st outing for the new motor. But I cannot commit in advance.

First day out with the rebult engine and Lots of Crap and metal in the oil and running .75 Seconds slow.


I have to pull it all apart again and try to rebuild.

Greg, I know how you feel. I think I wore my cherry picker out between races the last couple of years. Maybe it will be a minor issue.

I doubt its minor, but It will nee to come apart for examination,

I do think I got the Ignition sorted however, as I was able to change some settings run to run and maybe that is more consistent there.. Hopefully.


I can still be a definite if there is a contingency plan.... AKA Can I rent a covalt clan racer to drive?


If so then I am still in for sure.

No I am not racing my daily driver.. something dumb will happen then I am out a car I use every day.

No I am not racing the dart.

I sold the 80 aspen so I cant bring that :-(
