Been to this site many times, finally joined. I have a 68 A100 window van that was a SoCal fire department vehicle in its first life. Still has holes in the sides for the ladder rack, holes in the roof from the gumball light bar, extra switches and radio mounts on the dash, and monster bumpers front and rear. The pic shows the van while I was doing the disc brake swap and I had removed the front bumper to see how I liked it without it. (I decided for safety reasons to reinstall it later. You hit something in that thing and you are toast.) It has the 225, 727, with a 3.55 Sure Grip. I installed Scarebird back plates and bought the rest of the locally obtainable parts to convert to front discs. Still manual but at least its disc now.
