Building V8s and getting are the parts I need is no problem. This /6 has some twists. Did all /6 use the 904 or was there a 727 for the /6?

If you get the V8 A904 from a 318 (A998) or 360 (A999) you can swap the stronger planetaries and clutches into the 6 cylinder case and have a plenty strong 904.

That's what I am planning to do. I have mostly 904's in my race cars. Going to give the /6 a try.

Cool. If this is for the V/SA car you probably won't even want more clutch plates just from a parasitic drag perspective, but having them might reduce maintenance enough to be worthwhile. Someone with more experience than me should be able to say. Speaking of which, Slantzilla may be willing to put you in touch with Mike Jeffries who runs a slant 6 Diplomat stocker.

I've been in contact with Mike. He gave me enough info to begin searching for parts for this project. Thanks
