I'm building an '84 D100 and wanted to add a limited slip differential. I found this from Summit. I only get a busy signal when I call, so I figured to ask here. Just wanted to double check before I bought it. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dcc-4 ... /year/1984 I have an 8.25" rear with 3.55 gears. The specifications list for 2.76 and higher gears. I'm assuming that mean numerically, so this will work for my truck? Thanks all! |

Yes, it should work. That appears to be a Trac Loc unit. They are good as long as you don't hit them with too much horsepower. |

Thank you! Power shouldn't be an issue, I'm running the stock engine, even down to the little 1945 one barrel.
