If any of that -1500' air is there that is over at Englishtown, we could have had quite a few guys in the 9's.

Saw over on www.moparts.com that it rained almost all day today. :(

I stopped in yesterday during the rain & visited with a few of the guys.
I left around 3 PM and no cars were run up to that point.
I did hear Charles Meyers went 10.17 Friday. Hope they got to run today.

Post subject:  And the Winner Is.....

For our SSRN Points "season opener - East" the winner is ...
Ron Hamby, runner-up is....Rodney Hargis with Barry Harrison being the third car going into the semi finals.
Ron ran Barry and Rodney got the Bye.

Sunday in Columbus was still pretty wet but they got the track dry by 11:00 and got this race run, the SL6 "Fast Four" was not run due to time constraints. the last pass of the event was made around 10:00 PM so it was a long Sunday.

Anyone who was there, please send pics and info.

We just got back home . Everything went good just damp on saturday we got down to four cars and lost to Rodney in a double break out. We won first round of sportsman when they called up slant six cars and sportsman at the same so i had to give up any hope of running sportsman thats a bummer. Charlie Myers went 10.17 on friday in 94 air on the Barry Grant meter. He said he was going to stay and race but left Sunday morning thought we would not race. The air sunday was 98 That is good for 2/tenths so what could have happened din"t. So its on to Bristol and see if we can do any better. Later Dudes Possum Parker

bagel if you aint skeered you will show up or i will hunt you down

21 SL6 cars entered the Clumbus Classic event with 19 cars running in the race on Sunday. (Two went home on Saturday due to the wet weather)

Seymour sent me a few pics and the ladder.
Overall, it was a lot of standing around waiting for things to dry-out so not a lot of action photos.
