After further checking, it seems that they are remanufactured converters.
Can anyone recommend a company that makes torque converters for the 904 transmission? I am considering something in the 2000-2600 RPM stall range (based on my combination).
I am finding 727 converters easy enough, just not much for the 904.

All of these places make excellent converters for the 904, and have dealt with Slant 6 applications before:

Midwest Converters
http://www.raceconverters.com/

Edge Racing Converters
http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/

Continential Converters
http://www.ctconverters.com/

Happy building!

I'm having Coan do the one for my Duster.
